REQ# Forge_22_020: Must have minimum one (1) year experience in system administration (e.g., Windows or Linux operating systems) and help desk support. Will provide remote help desk support via telephone or remote administration to technicians in the field. Will manage and update trouble ticket database. Must have the ability to resolve trouble tickets without escalation. Must be self-motivated with attitude for continuous learning and current knowledge of new technology. Familiarity with the OSI model and leveraging knowledge to translate into troubleshooting concepts. Ability to work with other teams to troubleshoot and resolve layered issues. Additional related duties may be assigned. Candidate will have privileged system access and must have CompTIA Security+ certification and ability to meet DoD Cybersecurity Workforce IAT Level II certification with an operating systems certificate (e.g., Linux+, CCNA/CCNP, and or Windows Server certifications). Candidate must be a US citizen and have ability to obtain a SECRET clearance. Existing candidates with clearances are preferred.
